WELCOME TO The Process
“If you give a good idea to a mediocre team, they will screw it up. If you give a mediocre idea to a brilliant team, they will either fix it or throw it away and come up with something better.”
Pre-Production
Research // Concepts
What is the goal of the video? Who is our intended audience? Do you have any inspirational examples we can see?
Outline // SCRIPT
Once we nail down the direction we’re headed, we’ll write a more pointed script and visuals that go along with it.
Producing // Scheduling
Producer is a fancy word for a person who plans and coordinates the logistics of a shoot.
Who, where, and what do we need? People, props, locations, permissions, photos, archived footage, etc.
Production
The Shoot
Efficiency is our goal without substituting quality - and that’s the line we’re always trying to balance. Depending on the size of the shoot, we scale our crew to the needs of production. We are a firm believer in doing it right the first time - and maximizing shots and angles to be used in a variety of ways and future edits.
INTERVIEWS
The most common issue with interviews is we get buried in details.
Imagine you have 3 minutes to tell someone about a zoo. The best way to paint that picture is to keep it general. We don’t need to know the type of food an orangutan eats.
However, there’s pros and cons to this. Keeping it too general leaves out emotion and spontaneous magical moments. So it’s a delicate balance.
What are the key aspects of the story?

Post-Production
The edit
Once the shoot is wrapped, we backup your entire project on our server. Then we go through the footage, and start laying out the story. This is where the magic happens. Once a rough cut is complete we will send you a private link to view it, and then we can make changes and tweaks from there. Minimal changes are expected, but revisions that significantly restructure the edit will be quoted.
we’ll provide a quote based on the scope of work below
